Other Gatherings
Circling around the worship like planets orbiting the sun, there are additional opportunities to gather as a community. Some of these opportunities are purely social, and others ask you to put your thinking cap on. No matter what the gathering is, however, you are welcome.
Trinity @ 12
Sundays after the 10:30 a.m. worship anyone interested in discussing the sermon or occasionally a pre-announced topic with one of our clergy is invited into lively discussion held at Spot Coffee on Delaware. The exception is on the 2nd Sunday of every month…
2nd Sunday Lunches
This is Trinity’s monthly gathering for casual conversation and a community meal, directly after the 10:30am Sunday worship service. There is no agenda on these days, just a chance to connect with each other.
Navigating Trinity
Every six to eight weeks we offer an evening of orientation to a congregation that can be disorienting in its uniqueness and bewildering array of opportunities. Navigating Trinity is a casual two hours of conversation about what makes us Episcopal, what makes us unique, what we mean by “progressive Christianity” and how to navigate the opportunities of this community. Most churches talk about “membership” but we resist that term and instead talk about participation in the community of Trinity. We talk about the various ways and levels of personal investment and we talk about mutual expectations for participation. At the end of Navigating Trinity you will understand how you can get more involved in the areas that interest you and you will also get a brief tour of the highlights of our campus that includes four buildings and fabulous treasures.
